The Quickway team at Claremont Meadows have proudly teamed up with the PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Club) of Penrith to aide their course to get young people active in life. This initiative instigated by Dennis Jones (Quickway Senior Supervisor) was to collect and donate money raised by recycling bottles to the Penrith PCYC.

The PCYC help young people develop skills, character, and leadership. This reduces and helps prevent crime by, and against young people, and provide programs to suit all ages and lifestyles. The PCYC NSW is a registered charity, whose mission is to empower young people to reach their potential through Police and community partnerships.

Their aim is to engage with, and positively influence our 70,000+ youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership and cultural programs.

In addition, they work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to change the life outcomes of over 1500+ youth per year.

Dennis Jones and Ian Wright (Senior Project Manager at Quickway) met James Frecklington – Penrith Club Manager, recently and were given a guided tour of the club at Penrith to observe the excellent work James and the team do.
