Project Update – Asset Management Plan Rerailing
On the weekend (13th-14th July 2019) Quickway completed successfully a rerailing project as part of ARTC’s 10-year Asset Management Plan Rerailing program (AMPR). The program is to upgrade the existing infrastructure on the Sydney to Brisbane Line within the interstate network.
We completed the following scope of works at Wingham on the north coast during the weekend possession over two sites:
- 1540m of new rail installed
- 18 Aluminothermic Welds
The project was completed over a 48-hour possession with no incidents. Thanks to everyone involved in making the project a success.
