Project Win – Tram Grade Separation Projects
The Tram Grade Separation Projects Alliance (comprising of CPB Contractors, McConnell Dowell, Mott MacDonald, Arup, Aurecon, and the SA Infrastructure and Transport) is continuing construction on Adelaide’s Tram Grade Separation Projects, to reduce congestion and improve safety.
Quickway is involved in the construction of an 8-span overpass across Morphett Road and Sturt River, as well as a smaller single span bridge adjacent to the main bridge for the Glengowrie tram depot.
Quickway’s scope consists of excavation and Formwork, Reinforcement and Concrete Pouring (FRP) works of the piers, columns and abutments, landing pre-cast headstocks, landing pre-cast super-T girders to form the main structure of the overpass, and then completing the deck slabs and track slabs. We look forward to continuing project works and to full tram services resuming for the start of the school year in 2026.
