Contract Award – Tweed Landslide Remediation
Quickway was recently engaged by Tweed Shire Council to design and construct the remediation of three tricky landslide sites near the town of Uki in the Northern Rivers of NSW. The sites were damaged during the floods of 2022. Teaming up with design partner WSP, we designed time-efficient, economical, and robust solutions to the steep slip sites located above pristine waterways on live roads.
The works included two shotcrete faced post and panel walls, a gabion basket wall and road reconstruction. The works were completed works well ahead of program and with minimal impact to the community and environment.
