Quickway is proud to announce our appointment by Shoalhaven Water on behalf of the Australian Government to deliver the Jervis Bay Watermain Extension – a critical infrastructure project that will secure a reliable potable water supply for the Jervis Bay Territory.

Following a strategic review of long-term water security for the region, this project represents a sustainable connection of the Vincentia water supply zone to the Stony Creek Reservoirs.

Our works which are now well into the construction phase include:

  • Construction of a 10.4 km of Potable Water Transfer Main between Vincentia and Stony Creek Reservoirs
  • Supply, installation, and commissioning of a new booster pump station at Vincentia Reservoir
  • Supply, installation, and commissioning of a chlorine dosing hut at Stony Creek Reservoir
  • Water transfer main installation by means of conventional open cut trenching and also by means of a large Tesmec 885 Trencher
  • Trenchless construction by means of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and horizontal under bores through challenging terrain, including very high strength rock and sensitive corridors
  • Hydrostatic testing, disinfection, and commissioning of the new transfer main

Awarded in July 2025 and scheduled for completion Q2 2026, the Jervis Bay Watermain Extension highlights Quickway’s ability to deliver complex regional utility infrastructure, balancing engineering excellence with safety, quality, and sustainability.
