2022 Permanent Way Institution NSW Welders Award – Guy Johnson
Congratulations to Guy Rowles Johnson from our Rail Division on his winning of the 2022 Welders Award at the Permanent Way Institution NSW Awards presentation night which was held at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on Friday 10th February. This is a first-time win for Guy and also for Quickway.
Guy joined Quickway in 2018 as a Welder / Offsider, having just previously moved to Australia from overseas. Over the course of his time in the rail industry and within the company, he has been able to undertake various training courses and has been exposed to projects of varying complexity across New South Wales. As a result, he has been able to progress to the position of Supervisor, has become an integral part of our team, and has contributed greatly to the capability within our Rail Division.
