Project Overview
The Kempsey Bypass was a project consisting of a 14.5km stretch of road which makes up part of the 40km Kempsey to Eungai project. The Bypass includes a 3.2km bridge that stretches over the Macleay River, making it the longest bridge in Australia.
Project Description
Quickway was contracted to carry out the following works:
- Hand pour pavements
- SO drains and pits
- Slip form/shoulder pavement
- Bridge approach slabs
- F-Type barriers
