Project Overview
The complete Endeavour Energy network consists of approximately 20 transmission substations, 147 zone substations and 30,000 distribution substations. The required fibre for interconnection of all transmission and zone substations was 1,335kms. The benefits of the fibre rollout were an improved network reliability, improved incident response times and greater efficiency. The project consisted of aerial components, hut installation and civil infrastructure.
Project Description
Quickway were contracted to carry out trenching and directional drilling, fibre hauling, installation of pits, and non-destructive excavation.
We also delivered traffic management services for the duration, from plans to onsite execution of traffic control.
