This was a major dark fibre transmission network expansion, constructing about 4000km of new fibre to Vodafone cell sites across Australia.
Project Description
Quickway were responsible for the underground installation of PVC pipe, installation of new pits, installation of fibre optic, installation of cable in new and existing infrastructure, in-building survey and design, internal cabling and equipment installation with commercial premises, exchanges and data centres, optical fibre termination and splicing, and end-to-end testing, reinstatement of ground surfaces, and traffic management.
Quickway also developed plans, obtained RMS licencing and were responsible for the execution of onsite traffic control throughout.
