Women in Infrastructure (WiIN)

Quickway is working collaboratively with Roads and Maritime Services and Pacific Complete to deliver part of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade. As part of this project we proudly support the Women in Infrastructure Network (WiIN).

The WiIN was established in 2017 by Roads and Maritime Services and Pacific Complete to highlight the importance of supporting and connecting women in construction in Northern New South Wales.

WiIN Vision: ‘A network that empowers changed thinking and supports ambition’

WiIN Mission Statement: ‘Attract and retain women in the industry, create strong professional working relationships, encourage and support people to speak up and promote diversity.

Quickway proudly align with these values as an inclusive company where diversity is valued and respected.

Thank you to Pieter Van Heerden (Project Manager), Clare Strong (Project Administrator & Community Liaison Officer) and Shannon (Project Administrator) for your support at the recent WiIN event in Broadwater.

Feel the Magic Golf Day

Quickway’s team for the 2018 Feel the Magic Golf Day, which raised $37,000 this year.
The annual event raises funds to support Australia’s largest grief education and support programme for children.

Feel the Magic provide grief education and support to bereaved children and their families to help alleviate the pain and isolation felt by the loss of a parent, sibling or legal guardian. Grieving children who have experienced the death of someone they love can feel isolated and alone. They require ongoing support in developing strategies to cope with and move forward with their lives following a significant loss. In Australia, just over 300,000 children will lose a parent before they reach the age of 18.
